Brat MCs are usually a Pet peeve of mine but something in Skylar & Diablo's dynamics just worked for me. I didn't see coming I'd end up laughing out loud so much of Diablo's incredibly childish shenanigans! I would listen him
planning ways to annoy his bodyguard but see something very 'little-like' even though there was absolutely nothing of Ddlb play in the book. Size difference, the way Skylar manhandled Diablo nonstop plus his habit of pulling and maneuvering the brat by the back of his neck also screamed puppy play all over the story. Both narrators did an amazing job giving all characters their unique voices and most of all Diablo & Skylar dynamics kept smoothly independent of whom was performing. In short, I've read some underlying Age play vibes in the story and probably other fans of this genres or of psycho brats with a vulnerable side, may have a lot of fun listening the book too.
