The story always seems incomplete. Little pieces and bits are mentioned and had a great potential to evolve, complementing the story and character development, BUT DOESNT HAPPEN. Many details are left unsaid, such as when she asked him to marry her as a little girl, which creates a gap in the story because he wonders about finding her someday. Be aware that the MMC is A BIG jerk -dominant and abusive, to say the least. His apparent sweetness comes from being a narcissist and a sadist, manipulating the submissive F character. No honest redemption whatsoever. This woman is helpless and lacks self-awareness and determination to only fuels the jerk's behavior. This is the most perfect example of couples that would not be together (and, honestly? I HOPE she would leave his ass and find someone better). The narrators did an excellent job with their performances.
