My expectations were high and the book responded well to them, a very interesting story that always leaves you waiting for more, in my opinion the biggest problems were the excessive repetition of certain concepts, the theories that were always thrown into the air and in my opinion They were a little disjointed, but overall they are ignoreable problems, the characters are interesting, I hope for other good books in this series.

Ups and downs but mostly ups.

The begining of the book is too slow, things take too long to happen and the author sometimes describes the same thing over and over again, witch makes some parts of the book very difficult to endure. But after around the chapter 15 the book greatly improves and the story finally gets engaging. Overall, it's a very good story, it's worth it to give it a try.
By the way, if you are looking for a good drinking game, this book may provide a good one for you, just take a shot everytime the narrador describes that some character frowned, but be alarmed that you may end getting into an alcoholic coma.
