Sinopse
On the campus of Stanford University, there exists an old diary penned by a United States senator who has long since passed, but the diary’s dark secrets live on. Only three people have read the diary - two of them have been murdered, and the other is an undergraduate student by the name of Ryan Lane. Meanwhile, a few hours away in Fresno, California, a political assassin’s parole hearing has attracted worldwide media attention including Tony Kaye, an old school pen-and-paper journalist with The Washington Post. Inside a packed room full of prison guards and reporters, the assassin collapses and dies, and Tony Kaye’s investigative radar points him toward the story of a lifetime, a story that may cost him his life. Suddenly, more people connected to the diary are turning up dead, and Ryan turns to Tony Kaye to stop a killer from reaching his ultimate goal, his unimaginable goal.
