The performance of the voice was great! Range of her voice and the right dramatic rhytm. It made me feel into the story.

Eve is a deep interesting character. She actually seems easy to read but she really isnt. Her humor reminds me of Ivy from the mummy first movie.
She has found her own way to deal with life, and sometimes she sounds stupid but she really isnt.

The villain, isnt that usual deep evil, overpowered, extremely predatory man, that usual is found on spicy romances. It is more a role he plays. As life happens and we fit the position that is the one we need to be. Very mysterious man.

I love how the story doesnt give you anything easily. You slowly starts to understand bit by bit the characters and the world the author creates.

i liked the audiobook and the way the woman narrated, but the story itself is so ???? evie is such a child and the villain is not a villain? i don’t know, not my type of book but i had a nice time

A narração foi excelente, ainda que um pouco dramatica, e fez com que eu me sentisse dentro da história. Basicamente uma assistente se apaixonando por seu chefe, porém com todo o mistério por trás dos planos, identidade e passado do Vilão. Gostei bastante, principalmente com os plot twists e revelações dos 80% em diante.

I expected a more jovial voice for Evie, but the narrator did great the many range of voices. About the book, I've got to the end without finding out why everyone seems to find the story so fun. And to top it off, it ends in a cliffhanger! Very disappointing.
