Bean is the second book in the Honorably Discharged series, featuring a sweet guy who’d forget his own name if he didn’t write it down, a guy who thought he’d never find love again, found family, an age gap, friends-with-benefits to lovers, hurt/comfort, and a steamy happily ever after.
Bean is just as cute as you'd expect someone nicknamed Bean to be. He's sweet, kind, gentle, and so so loveable.
The romance was amazing as Jarek is also a sweetheart, but honestly the best part of this book (this series actually) is the supportive community these boys have found. Nash is a treasure.
The story was heartwarming and comforting like a warm hug.
Also, last but not least, John Solo's narration was so good. I could listen to his voice for the rest of my days lol And I really liked how natural and believable the characters felt. 10/10 voice acting.
