Sinopse
Killian Loch's beat at the San Diego Herald is anything but thrilling, and he is in danger of being one of the first to get his exit papers if the newspaper is bought out. He gets one last chance when he's sent to Las Vegas to get the most colorful story he can. The catch is, the job's not what he really wants. He dreams of being a novelist, and when he hears his book has been picked up by a major publisher, he starts counting the days until he quits.
However, he'll have to stay alive first.
In Las Vegas, Killian unknowingly saves the life of a Russian mobster at his nightclub. He meets a lovely woman who yearns for him to be her hero and crosses the paths of a killer bent on his own sort of revenge.
