In the turbulent winter of 1872, the Canadian brigantine Dei Gratia was on its way to Gibraltar, when it discovered another ship sailing awkwardly towards them. After calling out to the ship, there was no response. Two seaman left to board the strange vessel and one of the greatest mysteries of the sea was born from the events that followed.
Based on true events, this short story chronicles how unforgiving the vast sea can be.
