Sinopse
Crash and Burn by Lisa Gardner is a psychological thriller that tells the story of Nicky Frank, a woman who cannot escape the memories that reside inside her head. After suffering two previous concussions, Nicky has problems with night terrors, migraine headaches, and haunting memories from the past. These become worse when she suffers a third brain injury in a car accident.
Nicky Frank's car crashes into a ravine in rural New Hampshire. She is injured, but she survives. She forces herself to climb out of the vehicle and to the top of the ravine to get help. When help comes, she asks them to find a little girl named Vero.
Sergeant Wyatt Foster, a police investigator, and Kevin Santos, one of his detectives, are called in to try and find the missing girl. However, no little girl is found.
Nicky's husband, Thomas Frank, visits her in the hospital....
