Sobre este áudio
Dancing for a Rainbow is a collection of companion verses that explore the beauty of nature and the discovery of adventures in love, sadness, and self-doubt to ultimate joy.
The objective blends humanity’s relationship to nature’s beauty.
Dancing for a Rainbow opens with "San Miguel Renovation". The photograph is defined as a “black and white plus”–a black and white photograph with a highlight of color. The poem describes a solitary red chair in an abandoned adobe house, and from the crumbling structure, spirits fly forward.
"Snow and Santuario de Chimayo" explores the spiritual connections to winter’s landscape. To many, the Santuario de Chimayo remains one of the holiest places in the Americas.
"Mogollon Galaxy Night" explores the North American mysticism of our ancients’ understanding of the cosmos and how aboriginal minds can process their surroundings through tancestors’ written language–the petroglyphs.
"Cacti Growth" was shot in the Sonoran Desert of Mexico where there is beauty and personal growth in an arid wasteland.
"Desert Madness" initially was written as a poem that is visualized by a single yucca plant growing from the white desert gypsum sand.
The book’s final verse, "Dancing for a Rainbow", shows how relationships effect civilization with the backdrop of two humming birds engaged in an elegant waltz. The aviators were highlighted with the background of an arching rainbow.
