This is the story of a geek beautiful young woman who’s had her heart broken by a football player and has sworn off all athletes in order to guard heart. What she didn’t count on when she decided not to date those guys anymore was that Maverick would never let go of the idea of having her.
The’d met before and according to his words, she would never forget him. He was the one who didn’t.

I loved the whole secret admirer thing going on between Maverick and Delaney. It truly gave me the feels and made me smile. I just wish it had taken a little more time and effort from Delaney to figure out who He-Man was.

All in all it was an enjoyable reading and I recommend it to everyone who likes a light and fast paced story, without much drama and a cocky hero with a heart of gold and extremely sweet.
