Sobre este título
Satan. Lucifer. Abaddon. Beelzebub. Pazuzu. Shamwow. Gary.
The devil has many names. But for Captain Space Hardcore—Intergalactic Adventurer, full-time hero, and five-time Olympic dickathlete—the ancient enemy has only one title: Fist Fodder.
On the trail of a mind-melting futuristic drug, the Captain stumbles upon an ancient cult dead-set on raising The Beast from his slumber and feeding him a few thousand civilizations for breakfast.
The devil’s back in town and there’s only one man and four solid knuckles in his way.
Unfortunately for the Captain, the path to a solid fisting is not a smooth one. The Coalition of Rational Agnostic Beliefs aim to stop him, and that’s one set of CRABs that can’t be dispelled by an antibiotic cream and vigorous combing. They’re an order of monks as shadowy as they are uncertain, but even if the CRABs don't get him, our hero will have to tangle with CHURCH, a planet devoted to bringing all religions together which has coincidentally been consumed by holy war for its entire history.
That planet—like so many planets—wants to kill our hero, but he’s a man who’s never been killed before and he’s not about to start now.
The stage is set for a battle of epic proportions that pitches zealots against doubters, agnostics against prognostics, atheists against betheists, monsters against monks and Satan himself against the finest right hook this side of the Andromeda nebula.
It's a book that's already being described by its author, Michael Ronson as “without a doubt, the finest book ever written.”
So join us, dear listener, and delve into the mouth of madness, the heart of horror, and the rectum of religion as the Captain fends of an army of demons as violently as he fends off any form of theological thought in his quest to Punch the Devil!
