At first Red rising was amazing. Great narrative, amazing start, a journey filled with power, revenge and strategy seemed to be near. Then, near the middle of the book apparently the story slowed to a halt. The story goes really fast and intense in the first 2 parts and then seems to never end after that. It's still good, but I ended feeling this book was only a prelude. It didn't feel like something got concluded, just started. I hope the story goes farther on the next book, because there's so much potential and it was good, not great.

Já é a terceira vez que releio Red Rising, e sempre pego um ângulo diferente. A narração me entregou um novo sentido na percepção da obra e está primorosa.
O personagem principal, Darrow, me desperta sentimentos contrastantes, o que é ótimo. A narrativa é concisa e o fluxo é bom.

Red Rising is an AMAZING book, and Tim Gerard Reynolds is an incredible narrator. I loved the songs and his use of accents, which, although a bit challenging to understand at first, add a unique depth to the story. As the plot unfolds, you realize how these details enhance the entire experience.

Trama muito bem desenvolvida, que prende o leitor a todo momento, sem perder o ritmo, e te permitir projetar, mentalmente, a grandeza do que a história se tornará nos próximos livros.

Personagens distintos e cativantes, mesmo ao serem servidos em grande número, que dão vida ao mundo e entregam relacionamentos complexos.

O único ponto negativo foi nas descrições de ambientes, que são longas e não muito objetivas, causando um pouco de confusão na visualização dos ambientes e personagens. Mas pode ser uma questão de preferência.
