Then, he enabled us to respond to him by sending the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to the gospel's truth and glory. Thus, all of our blessings must be traced back to God's sovereign election of us through Jesus Christ. When all of creation appears before him at Christ's second coming, all heavenly and terrestrial creatures will laud God for his indescribably marvelous plan of salvation.
