Sinopse
Following a family tragedy and the discovery of a huge family secret, 16-year-old Jack and his quirky sister Emily must travel the Bifrost to a mythical realm called Sylvaheim. Here, they learn to conquer their deepest fears. Jack converses with a riddle-talking tree, battles a troll, dines with faeries, and falls in love with a water nymph named Ari.
Separated from Jack by a huge hedge of silver, their mother's life hangs in the balance. To save her family and reunite with her brother, 14-year-old Emily must find a mythical plant called silphium. As she traverses Sylvaheim with a clumsy warrior princess from Norse mythology, Emily symbolically "cuts" her own shadow, narrowly escapes from Merlin's cave, and makes a deal with the god of the underworld.
