I can’t begin to tell you how much I hate this book!

Let’s start by the WORST part: the MMC.
This man just doesn’t care about the FMC, could be her or a punching bag, cause he treats her like trash - let me walk you through a few examples:

1. The restaurante scene:
- This man “takes her on a date” to the place he takes EVERY SINGLE ONE of his ex, escorts and flings, and that’s not even the lowest point of it.
- To make everything shittier - a business partner of his comes to talk, treats the FMC as if she’s a goddamn wall flower.
- Then, his “ex” (most current escort he had) walks in and just treats the FMC like garbage and the MMC as if they still has something happening, he “shuts down” this stunt, but takes his sweet time to do it. That’s shitty enough? Nop.
- To put the cherry on top of this layered worst-cake-ever: he thinks “oh, maybe this place wasn’t a good idea, this situation is awful and she deserves better”, for a second I was going to give him an ounce of sympathy, until the girl started to almost cry asking him to take her home AND THIS MF just goes like “no, eat” (I swear, my blood pressure and heart health were tested). The girl tried again and explains that she isn’t hungry and doesn’t want to be there, he just “ tough thing for you. I too don’t want to be here, but you will eat.” HOW CAN HE DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE RIGHT AFTER THINKING ONE THING?????

He just doesn’t care, nor for her, nor for her well-being, nor for her emotional safety, nor for the embarrassment of the situation (EVERY ONE in the place was watching this going down), nothing!!!!

2. This man have -40 in self regulation: one time specifically, by the end of the book, when she disagrees with him and kinda tell him no, he goes towards her, cages her in and punches the wall right beside her head. WTF!!! what fresh hell was that? Great way to create an abuser.


3. Every single time she disagrees with him, he just doesn’t listen, doesn’t care about the reasons she may have to be worry (and it was a god awful lot), he disregard everything she says when is not to agree with him - he bluntly ignore her, or turns this into a sęx moment, our punishes her for it.


4. They don’t talk and don’t know each other. The couple, through the whole book, is together less than a month and he doesn’t know nothing about her and doesn’t care to know anything about her.

5. There is a lot of interactions between the main characters where conversations, discussions about preferences and, honestly, consent were necessary, and the MMC just ignores everything and throws the FMC and so the deep end which makes the whole experience traumatic. The girl breaks down hard after one of those, and he is pissed that she doesn’t respond his texts the next day or answer his calls when he orders her too - not one single time this man gets worry about her health and emotional well-being, he just thinks about himself.

6. Basically, all the moments that supposed to be important to a couples dynamics it’s forced by him, for example when he orders her to tell that she loves him ( and to leave more suspicious, this happens kinda right after the MMC gets to know that his friends girlfriend told him that she loves him). It’s like he wants to “keep up” with his friends, cause most certainly isn’t because of her.


Now that that’s out of the way, can someone find this girl backbone??? The guy mistreated her SO MUCH then tells her to stay and she just does, for example: in the restaurant scene - MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS THROUGH THE ROOF. She lets everything slides for a kiss or an “I love you”.


And, besides all that, the story is not good.

Put a bunch of red flags and called a romance book
