We spoke about her novel, which tells the story of 10 astronauts on a 23-year mission to Terra-Two, a planet in a nearby solar system which scientists claim could be habitable. The story gives details on sharing close quarters for 23 years and the reality of having no one who can help when something goes wrong.
We spoke about how rewriting one book taught her to write novels, how she got to go in a human centrifuge and being a huge audiobook fan.
