But soon she meets Mike, a suave doctor working against the status quo, and she succumbs to his charm despite Billy’s threats and her friends’ warnings. The couple survives the thugs’ intimidations, but just as Maya’s love for Mike overwhelms her, a kidnapper abducts her at a subway station.
