Sinopse
Mick makes a decision to pursue a desire that routine, work commitments, and family duties had long suppressed. He, therefore, moved to Southern California to conquer a new freedom, and, finally, after a life passed too quickly, between endless working days and long hours passing him by...to be an artist.
Despite his efforts, however, no color seems to want to settle on the blank canvas, until, one day, a special encounter suggests new and surprising perspectives to Mick.
The novel tackles with lightness heartedness and at the same time with intensity, existential themes, such as loneliness, the inexorable passage of time, regrets of unfulfilled dreams, to the point of emphasizing the traits of to one’s inner spirit of youth and rebirth, always alive in every one of us, regardless of their age.
In claiming the need to live according to one's inclination, and to undertake a path that brings us back in harmony with nature, the author declares that he was inspired by two novels, decisive results for the writing of this book: The Dolphin by Sergio Bambarén and The Long Journey into the Current by Jay Nussbaum.
