Sobre este título
Glenn Langohr explains how the trajectory of our thought life propel us into our destiny. He uses his life to show how his rebellion from a violent childhood corrupted his thinking all the way to a prison cell, next to the leader of a gang. After some deep repentance, God urged him to start writing. By being thankful for the hope God was giving him, he was able to "make heaven out of hell". He walks you through some of his story and teaches how to "take every thought captive" "give thanks in all circumstances" and to "pray without ceasing".
Glenn has now published over 60 books and owns Redemption House, where he mentors people to become disciples of Jesus Christ by prophesying forward what God already did and is still doing.
EXCERPT: That first year I started writing in prison gave me a new purpose in life. I was becoming on fire for this idea that God was pressing me to become a writer. I paced my cell back and forth to focus on how God could do it. It didn’t matter that I had a leader of a notorious gang in my cell with me. It didn’t matter that the prison yard was locked down from an ongoing war between the Mexican gangs and the Black gangs. It didn’t matter that it was 115 degrees outside on the border of Mexico in a little town called Imperial Valley. There was a shift underway deep inside of me that was bringing heaven down where it mattered the most, in my thoughts and in my heart.
I was desperately searching for a way, through writing, to find redemption and turn everything I had been through, into a blessing. It started with hope. It wasn’t a reality yet. But the hope was enough to generate the thoughts into something that was beginning to penetrate the spiritual ethos and the momentum was underway.
Jesus Christ tells us, “the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17: 21
