Ten years later, sharing thoughts and dreams through pen and paper has brought them closer than ever. When Duncan sends Kaydee a scarf for her 22nd birthday and a card expressing his love for her, she's happy but her hopes are shattered when he mentions his grade school friend Mara has come to visit him at Oxford.
