Sobre este áudio
Imagine you're a rover on Mars, trying to find your way around. There's no towering skyscrapers or bodies of water to tell you where you are. What do you look for? The original natural landmarks: changes in land elevation that denote mountains and craters.
On this week’s episode, Dr. Danielle DeLatte, a Space Systems Engineer at Draper, came in to talk about her PhD work using machine learning and computer vision to to calculate the age of craters and their possible role for rover navigation in the future.
Hear more about Danielle's work on NASA's Artemis mission in the Bonus Minutes on our website, mlminutes.com, where you can also find episode transcripts, additional resources, and more. To stay up-to-date on upcoming guests & giveaways, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram.
