Recounting the symbolic and interdimensional events of Valentine’s Day 2023, and the day before. The events made me recall events of longer ago: this time last year, just after our wedding in 2021, and April 2019 when Mike first asked me to be with him. Notes: The first time Mike asked me to be with him, on the 5th of April 2019, I turned him down. Yes, it’s true. I mention this in my talk because it forms a parallel with Mary McDougall turning John down the first few times he asked her out. Sit tight; the puzzle pieces of my story will come together in time.

I Am Love was the song I had on repeat whilst creating my painting I Am Love (see Tumblr link below and scroll to November 2021).
