Meet Power (Ari Gold) who has the heart of a rock god and the musical skills of… well… your uncle at a wedding. But what he lacks in actual drumming ability, he more than makes up for with his elite-level air drumming. When Power’s dad (Michael McKean) a hard-nosed, no-nonsense union leader, calls a strike at the local mine, Power’s life takes a wild left turn.
On this bizarre and surprisingly emotional journey across America, Power battles the man, finds love with deaf and passionate named Annie (Shoshannah Stern), and finally hears the one rhythm that really matters: the beat within his heart.
