We live in an age of being everywhere—except where we truly are. Your body may be at the dinner table, but your mind is already thinking about tomorrow. You’re looking at your children, but your heart is on that email from work (you know the one). You’re sitting in worship, but your brain is processing through the busy week ahead. Oftentimes, the devil doesn’t always need you to be disobedient—he’s thrilled if he can keep you busy, distracted, and constantly feeling like you haven’t quite succeeded. Why? Because a distracted disciple is a weaker disciple, which can mean being a weaker friend, weaker spouse, weaker parent, etc. Tune in as Pastor Chad closes our New Year’s sermon series “Be: Resolutions That Matter for Others” with a message titled “Be Present.” It's easy to say, hard to do, but there’s no more important place to be!
