Sobre este áudio
In this solo episode, I talk about all things emotions, feeling our feelings, and why this is SO important, for both our mental health, as well as our physical health, gut health, relationships, all the things.
Most of us have been programmed to think that it's not okay to express big emotions like anger, sadness, etc. It's not really socially acceptable, so instead of expressing ourselves and moving through the waves of emotions, we repress them, push them down, we swallow the tears, take a deep breath and distract ourselves from anger, eat another cookie instead of feeling the loneliness.. But the feelings don't go away, they just build on the inside, in silence.
In this episode, I share some of the tools that have helped me on my own personal journey to expressing myself and my emotions more freely, and releasing all of that built up tension I had been holding on to for so long. Many of the techniques I share in this episode are things I have learned through working with my coach, Dominey Drew.
