ISO 22734 is the international standard for “hydrogen generators using water electrolysis — Industrial, commercial, and residential applications”. It defines the construction, safety, and performance requirements of modular or factory-matched hydrogen gas generation appliances applicable to four types of hydrogen ion transport media.

The Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) protocol was defined in order to realise safe data transmission for EtherCAT. Autonomous mobile platforms, such as automated guided vehicles (AGVs), are increasingly being used in production and logistics environments. This results in legal requirements for the safety of AGVs.
