Sobre este título
Elise Delamare recounts her experience growing up and serving in the Assemblies of God, describing a progression from sincere spiritual calling into a high-control, ab*sive ministry environment. Systemic issues such as authoritarian leadership, intense emotional and physical “boot camp” training, fear-based obedience, boundary violations, s*xual misconduct mishandled by leadership, and psychological manipulation was framed as spiritual discipline. Over time, these practices led to trauma, burnout, and loss of personal autonomy. The culture and leadership structures allowed ab*se to persist unchecked, ultimately prompting her to leave and advocate for awareness, accountability, and healing for others with similar experiences.
