Joey McIntyre is a real one. The youngest of nine kids, the youngest member of New Kids On The Block — forget Backstreet Boys, N*SYNC, all that, these guys were first — this Boston-born singer and actor is a creative powerhouse with a wry and quick wit.

He joins us on the couch to discuss his new Christmas movie ‘Jingle Bell Wedding’ (out on Roku), but of course we had to get into the NKOTB lore: the group’s near-organic formation, what it was like joining the group at 12, the emotional toll, his voice breaking, going solo (with some serious independent chutzpah), reuniting and woah, those New Kids cruises really sounded like a doozy (just google Joey McIntyre, naked cowboy).
