  • S5-EP8 Santa Paul and the gift of Hamish
    Dec 5 2025

This week we welcome back our good mate Paul from @3Legs4Wheels podcast. Paul has been in many bands and he brought Jeff some holiday cheer by surprising us with his good friend and former bandmate Hamish Glencross formerly from My Dying Bride and currently with Godthrymm. This was one of the rare times Jeff was rendered speechless. Hamish shares alot of band stories and speaks of Godthrymm's upcoming release due out this Spring.

We continue on with our Priest Family Madness tournament with a battle of firsts-Rocka Rolla Vs. Tipton Baptizm of Fire. Our first battle voted on four ways.

1982 was our Spinner year, and what a year indeed!

  • S5-EP7 1990 Madness with Bill Peters
    Nov 21 2025

This week we welcome back our good friend Bill (@RealMetalKevin). Bill is a podcast icon and is the most prolific music podcaster in the world. Bill has recently been reviewing albums released in 1990 on his podcast Music from a Lifetime and that year is so loaded and pivotal that we decided to discuss the year 1990 in music. We discuss 20 something records that we dig and were important in the music scene moving forward. Our Priest Family Madness Tournament rolls on with #1 seed Painkiller taking on Halford IV: Made Of Metal. Does Made Of Metal have a chance?

The Spinner year is 2010, a super interesting year in music.

  • S5-EP6 Priestcast Hidden Gems with Nate
    Nov 7 2025

This week we pop another podcast cherry with @NatesHiddenGems. Nate was so smooth you'd think he was on old pod pro. Nate has killer music knowledge and we discuss alot of bands from well known to unknown. We also hear a really fun metal story that doesn't involve Kiss for once!

This weeks Priest Family Madness tournament matchup has Fight War Of Words up against Angel of Retribution. Will we get another jaw dropping upset? Well, we don't really know who was favored so... Both are awesome records and of course our guest was the tie breaker once again.

The Spinner year is 2006. Are we getting predictable in our choices? Maybe. Maybe not.

Here is the episode originally released on 10-24-25. This platform removed it but here it is violation free.

This weeks Priestcast is Extreme Mayhem with @ExtremeMetalDad. We do all the cool metal story stuff and have round #2 of our "Priest Family Madness" tournament with Screaming For Vengeance going up against Halford's Crucible. The results may just cause a little Mayhem and Madness!

  • S5-EP4 Lightforce In This Joint with Leon
    Oct 10 2025

This week we welcome Leon from Lightforce up in this joint. Leon is the force behind his band Lightforce and he shares with us the emotional meaning behind both the name of his band and the name of the EP "Father Time". We hear Leon's musical journey from childhood up until now and how his musical evolution inspired Father Time. We have a really cool conversation with a really cool dude that we know you'll dig.

We kick off a new series we've yet to name being the professionals we are. It's a 32 album tournament thingy that is really cool and we hope you dig it as much as we do.

This is our last go at the Spinner year 1992-the year that keeps on giving. What joint will we each pick?

  • S5-EP3 Yearbook for Vengeance with Seth
    Sep 19 2025

This week we welcome in another podcast virgin, Seth(@thestormmaster). Rest assured we were very gentle and Seth assured us that is was a very pleasurable experience. Seth's metal journey is quite unique and his path is interesting and surprising. Some of the things we discuss are chicken wire, trailer parks, chain smokers, dudes in dresses, flying doobies, base commanders, dead milkmen and everything you ever wanted to know about Christian Metal. We had a lot of fun!

We get into another Yearbook segment this week featuring Priest's best selling album of all time, Screaming For Vengeance. We deep dive into this legendary album and assign some fun high school yearbook awards to each track. Some love and hate but as always, total honesty.

Our Spinner year continues to be 1992. The gift that keeps on giving.

  • S5-EP2 Point Of Yearbook with Black Iron Judas
    Sep 12 2025

This week we welcome back Mike(@BlackIronJudas). Mike is always a hilarious chat and he really knows his metal. We hear all about his family adventures and music adventures and laugh a hell of a lot. In fact, I don't know what there is more of, dialog or laughter. Our second segment is the ol fan favorite, Yearbook. In keeping with the Priest catalog chronology, the controversial Point of Entry is the subject of our folly. There is some love and some hate but as always, a lot of honesty. 1992 is the Spinner year that keeps on giving.
