Sobre este áudio
In this episode of the Learning Journeys Podcast, we are joined by professional climber, Robbie Phillips. Robbie shares his journey from trying out climbing for the first time through to representing Great Britain internationally in competitions to his life climbing hard and scary outdoor routes around the world. We chat about his sketchy early years, the factors that underpin success in climbing projects and the mental health solace that climbing has brought him in lockdown. Creative, unpredictable, heart-breaking, enthusiastic and passionate all rolled into one - well worth a listen!
Please note that this episode was recorded before the sad passing of HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. At times, Robbie and I share our experiences from the Duke of Edinburgh's scheme which was so positive and influential in our development.
You can check out Robbie's brilliant youtube channel here to follow his updates.
