Based loosely on Huber Selby Jr.’s 1964 novel, this bleak study in brutality tells a story of Brooklyn’s savage underbelly. Directly by Uli Edel, it features some familiar faces including Jennifer Jason Leigh, Stephen Lang, Burt Young and Jerry Orbach among others.
