Have you ever hit bottom when it comes to resources? It can be a helpless feeling, especially if you have no where to turn for help. There is a unique story in the Bible about a widow woman that was literally scraping the bottom of the barrel to feed her child. God sends a prophet to this woman to help her, but it starts with the most unexpected request. The story teaches us a valuable lesson on how we can trust in God's provision. God provides for us in a powerful way when we take steps of faith and trust in the one that has it all figured out. We don't have to keep scraping the bottom of the barrel, we can live overflow of God's goodness to us!
