Sobre este título
Is God a vending machine or a Father who knows what we truly need?
In this homily, Fr Sam reflects on the deep meaning of prayer as revealed in the readings for the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Rather than viewing prayer as a transaction to get things from God, Fr Sam explores how true prayer draws us into relationship with God Himself. Drawing from Abraham’s bold intercession for Sodom and Jesus’ teaching on the Lord’s Prayer, we are reminded that prayer changes us—not God. We don’t wear God down; we are built up in His mercy.
Let us stop demanding results and start seeking relationship.
