We're closing out 1981 with one of the first movies we all saw and loved: The Cannonball Run starring Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Farrah Fawcett, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jackie Chan, and so many more. We all remember loving the bloopers in the end credits, but what about the rest of the movie? How does it hold up? What fun facts did we learn that we can share? There are many!

On the heels of SNL, Bill Murray was making his place in pop culture with a movie career. One of the first big ones was Stripes alongside Harold Ramis, John Candy, John Larroquette, Sean Young and many more. In this episode we'll give you the background on the movie, including its place in time as a military movie.

As all three PCY hosts grew up on farms in the 80s, country music was a major part of our upbringing. Not only that, country music was crossing over and becoming a major player on pop radio too. Closing out our review of 1988 is the baseball classic Bull Durham. Ron Shelton had a pretty great run of sports movies with this one, White Men Can't Jump, and Tin Cup. Kevin Costner was on the verge of superstardom here too. Throw in Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins and it's a powerhouse lineup.
