What does it mean to be saved? It is a wonderful thing to know that we have been rescued from hell—but salvation is far greater than just that. Salvation is the complete work of Christ in our lives. It begins when the Spirit of God convicts our hearts, leading us to repent of our sin and turn to Him in faith. Through His sacrifice, Jesus redeems us by His blood—paying the price for our sin. He reconciles us to God, restoring a broken relationship and making us right with Him. He then regenerates us, giving us new life—spiritually alive where we were once dead.
