  • Kyle Meredith & The New Public Radio Paradigm
    Oct 7 2025

Jason and Paul welcome public radio host (and Pearl Jam super-fan) Kyle Meredith back to the show to discuss the new public radio landscape since President Trump had congress defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Now PBS, NPR and around 1,000 affiliates are without federal dollars that will drastically affect those stations...if not outright put take them off the air. Many Americans get their news and curated music from these media...so now what? Kyle offers his insight. Plus Kyle reacts to the recent Matt Cameron and Stone Gossard interviews.

  • Rob Sheridan Decodes Pearl Jam's Dark Matter Tour Art
    Sep 23 2025

Jason and Paul welcome graphic artist Rob Sheridan back to the show to deep dive on how he made the gorgeous art that was displayed behind Pearl Jam on their incredible Dark Matter tour. Rob's use of practical effects, macro lens, and unusual chemistry instruments (and an overhead projector!) created some of the most compelling visuals ever seen at a rock show before.

  • LP2EP: Backspacer
    Sep 16 2025

Jason and Paul celebrate 16 years of Pearl Jam's Backspacer by shrinking it from its full 37min...to less than 30 (and about half the songs). It's the LP2EP exercise and it was harder than you might think.

    Sep 9 2025

Jason and Paul welcome the frontman and primary creative force behind Seattle's King Youngblood. Cameron Lavi-Jones is as authentic as they come and writes incredible rock music...with a purpose. He's paying it forward like the legends of Seattle did before him some 35 years ago.

  • No Code Economic Autopsy Report
    Sep 2 2025

Jason and Paul celebrate 34 years of No Code with friend of the show and author Brian "Stip" Stipelman. But the record wasn't really celebrated in 1996 when it came out...at least not commercially. But why? The guys sift through history of the band, the musical landscape of the time and more to try to figure out why.
