Don't worry though, this is still Tag Till We're Dead (TTWD) - a UK-based anthology horror podcast. Getting straight to the point, with no fluff, no filler... and no production value. Just straight-up horror created by my weird random brain.

What Do Zombies Dream About? is my usual brand of horror, but with the violence, bad language and sick humour cranked up to 11. I'm writing this zombie survival series in real time, very intuitively. I have no idea where the story is going, but I'm estimating maybe 6 - 10 chapters to tell the whole story!

For the next few episodes I am going to take you on a slight detour. Don't worry, it is still horror. And a lot of fun is involved.

This is a zombie series entitled What Do Zombies Dream About?

I am taking your hand and leading you down a side quest of zombie action, spanning several episodes. Yes, my fellow weirdos, I have been writing a short Point Of View zombie series. And yes - I have NO idea where it will ultimately lead us. OR whether we will still have our sanity intact by the end of it all. Hopefully we'll be still holding hands, with adrenaline pumping and laughing hard!

It is a slight change of pace from my usual writings. More fast-paced, more character-development, more violence, and more unpredictability. A bit like life really!

HOW IT CAME ABOUT:

I wrote the first part of What Do Zombies Dream About, many years ago. Long before I started this pod.

It was a bit of fun, a deviation (plus I love the zombie genre) but I was also pleased with what I had written. It didn't fit in anywhere though, so I kept it on ice, and then strangely enough, my recent collaborations with Mexican horror rock band Jhon Roadkill, thawed it out! I wanted to use their music to accompany a story, and the track 'I am the Undead' jumped out first.

My clever daughter asked me, 'Do you have any other zombie stories, mum?'

And my brain went PING.

I remembered this one.

So I went back to it, and realised it felt like a chapter in a fast-faced series. I added another two chapters, and want to add more. I might even turn it into a book if the story asks for it!

*TRIGGER WARNINGS - Zombie apocalypse, gore, bad language, cartoon violence, death, grief, sick humour, and unexpected twists *

So, dear listeners, strap in tight, grab a weapon - and join me as we try to survive the night in our small home town, as the undead cut loose...
