    In 2019, during what was meant to be a relaxing river trip in Texas, she wakes in the middle of the night to a terrifying presence she believes was demonic—an encounter so disturbing she’s only spoken of it once since.
    Finally, in 2022, while doing laundry in her garage just after her father moved out, she locks eyes with a full-bodied apparition watching her from behind a wall—solid, detailed, and unnervingly curious.
