Originally from Scotland and excited with the thought of her new job, she moved into a bedsit in Dagenham, Essex, close to her new place of work. Life at this time was good for Gillian – she was enjoying her new employment and her new home and she also enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend, Gary. But one other person in the house, Patrick Keane, took exception at something so incredibly minor and innocuous. But due to this, he made her life a total misery for the next decade....

It had been another busy day at the Loco Works FC Social Club in Inverurie, with a football match in the afternoon and an evening function too. As Club President, Harold Petrie and his wife locked up - as they had done many times before - there was a raid to try to steal the takings of the day. And this robbery tragically left Harold dead at just 46 years old when he was brutally attacked and stabbed by one of the thieves. Who was responsible for his death?
