Join us this episode as we chat to Jenny House, a PhD Candidate at Charles Darwin University, about her work and research which is focused around fisheries, fishing-dependent communities and particularly around gender in fisheries and women’s empowerment. Jenny had a wealth of experience from her time working for Blue Ventures in Timor-Leste, in this episode we talk about her experiences so far, the complex issues that make up the fishing industry, community based conservation and management, as well as social inclusion and women's participation in these projects
