I'm writing this book to encourage people and hear different testimonies on how God brought them out or how big of a blessing it is to put God first and trust him. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony: I've been through a lot of things, but God brought me through every storm, trial, test, and tribulation. My mother said that I was gifted as a little girl, and now that I'm older, I see the gifts God has given me. I hear from God, and he gives me what to say to his people; by me being obedient to his word, things come to pass.

Have you ever felt like you are the only one going through something? You are alone, hurting, and the harder you try, the bigger the circumstances get? Me too! I have walked many unwise decisions or circumstances not in my control, but I am here to tell you that there is a God that never leaves or forsakes us. My hope is that you will find solace in the outcome of how God’s healing hand took my broken vessel and molded me into his vessel, and that you, too, will know he is with you.

A heartfelt emotional rollercoaster you won't be able to put down. From childhood experiences being the middle daughter of an exotic dancer to Milton Hershey School in my formative years and experiencing an entire new way of life. From there to the military, where I deployed with the Tenth Mountain Division, there is an array of detailed imagery that describe the heart-wrenching emotions of war, rape, abuse, delusions, the backstabbing from a "family friend", and the loss of a child to the foster care system, as well as a new addition we were not expecting.

What is a godly way of life? A godly way of life is living our lives in "the way" Jesus lived his life, the "godly way," according to his teachings. A godly way of life is the way we conduct ourselves in our every thought, action, and reaction in our everyday lives to let the rest of the world see our Creator through us by doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

I feel everyone has a story to tell and we all wear masks to cover who we really are. We want others to think our lives are perfect, but that is not always the case. Our masks hide the pain and suffering each of us may have endured at some point in our lives. It is with this book that I am lowering my mask to reveal to you who I truly am.

Stories of Life is a warm, expressive, heartfelt account of some of the major spiritual truths learned by the author over time, spanning some seventy years. There is humor, drama, tragedy, and encouragement to be enjoyed as the author explains the situations that occurred to bring about her spiritual learning and growth. She reveals the struggles and events of a difficult childhood and young adult life, as well as the resulting success that came after commitment to following God's chosen path for her life.

God has had His hand on the author's life throughout her days. He has never let her go, no matter the depths of darkness to which she has descended. From her early life loss of her birth father to her marriage to the love of her life and her eventual marriage break up to her blossoming as a vibrant Christian witness to God's saving, healing power, this story is a compelling one of God's constant provision for her in all circumstances.
