At fourteen I was crowned champion of the VR Gladiator Games. By eighteen I was unloading junk at a warehouse without a penny to my name. Girls used to chase me. Now they wrinkle their noses in disgust. Life has given me a chance to make a comeback. But in this game, it's either triumph or perish!

This game changes every day. It learns, improves, gets smarter. In here, I'm up against not only other players, but the entire game world. What to choose? To go it alone or at the head of an army? To level up or unravel the web of intrigue? I may be an ordinary student, but in this game, I'm one of the best fighters alive. I've triumphed over champions and monsters in the past. But I'm about to face the Gods.
