Path to Prosperity

Percy is a poor child with nothing to his name. He has no power, no family–only an old mentor in his wooden hut outside town. Even that is taken away from him when the old man dies. But everything changes when he gains access to mana and manifests what is known as an Ego. His Ego doesn’t grant him strength like others would. It's rare, allowing him to consume what he owns and to reforge the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Percy expected a new start at the illustrious Wintermoon Estate, but behind polished walls and noble splendor, he found only cold shoulders and quiet malice. Cast aside and left to fend for himself, he trains alone in the Moonlight Forest, honing the strange power he is fortunate enough to call his own. Amid beasts and moonlit dangers, he finds friends and power. Enough to face the creatures he fears the most as they descend once more.

The Devil has come. Percy’s awakening changed his life forever. It granted him strength but also the means to make something of himself. But when the truth about his family came out, no amount of strength helped him digest the truth he never thought possible. Revelations about his bloodline thrust him into a role he never asked for. Power, legacy, expectations–none of it feels like it belongs to him. Still reeling from the shock, Percy struggles to find his footing in a world that now looks at him differently. Some see hope. Others see threats.
