Softland

On his way to attend a funeral for a friend hundreds of miles from home, a young man is stricken with a crippling panic attack that causes the ground beneath him to swallow him whole. Scared and confused, he finds himself in a dark fantastical world where his fears and anxieties manifest into the creatures and people that inhabit the land known as the Abyss. As he begins a journey to navigate his way back to his own world, he begins to understand that maybe the worst thing in life, is to remain afraid of the things he cannot control.

When she arrives at the gas station that her grandfather runs, she finds no trace of him, only a cryptic note that leads her once again out into the deadly cold in a last-ditch effort to find him. At her weakest moment, with the cold threatening to overtake her, she discovers the impossible: a patch of green grass and flowers, growing untouched amidst the harsh elements. However, she finds no peace here. Instead, a looming shadow beneath her feet drags her down to the Abyss, where her adventures begin in a new world full of choices.
