With no memories of his past, 18-year-old Seren awakens in the forbidden Godless City held captive by a scientist. After a daring escape alongside a hired mercenary, Seren finds himself the target of a relentless pursuit by the Novem Council, the rulers of the city.

Forced to flee, Seren sets out for his so-called homeland, Lumina, accompanied by the mercenary and a runaway princess from the sinister Sanguine Sisters.

Their path is unexpectedly derailed, entwining Seren in the perilous fate of the princess. Determined to save her, he faces trials that unravel the fragments of his forgotten history.

Meanwhile, as the Veil's barriers weaken, the corrupted realm between the Gods and humanity hangs in the balance. With the demons of the Veil threatening to take over the world, Seren realizes he may play a pivotal role. But first, he will have to confront his past—one that is darker than he could have ever imagined.
