Anxiety often is a slow steady creep up of little things that can then create a high level of stress and tension in the body over many years, when we are not aware of this it can feel as if overwhelm is happening all of a sudden and can shock us with its severity. Doing daily mindful check-ins with Reiki can be a godsend in regulating our nervous system, lowering our tension scale and making us more self-aware.

Once my shift in perspective occured, things amped up in a very uncomfortable way.
