Divorce is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, second only to the death of a spouse. In a sense it is a death - of your hopes and dreams and expectations of your future life. Reiki is such a powerful aid when we are going through challenging emotional and life shifting events. My 3 tips: 1. Self treatment, its funny how often we drop this fundamental self-practice when things get overwhelming 2. Harmonising our environment with the Harmony symbol to cleanse and support the space we live in and those in it 3. Sending Reiki directly to specific areas we want help with, whether that's resolving your relationship, harmonising a custody battle, or helping your inner resilience.

I started researching why Vipasanna teachers say you have to choose between Reiki and Vipasanna. Sometimes Reiki opens up your innate abilities or widens your energetic scope that you may have suppressed or ignored. For some people they start to see auras, archetypal entities, people who have passed over, or hearing messages etc. It's a shame if this stops you using Reiki if its a fearful avenue to go down. Better to create clear boundaries around what you want to explore, and what you don't. It's always up to you what gifts you want to follow.
