Sie stoßen auf die Schriften eines Privatgelehrten, dessen Thesen die wissenschaftliche Welt ins Wanken bringen. Karl der Große sei demnach viel eher Karl der Fiktive und die gesamte Karolingerzeit hätte nie stattgefunden. Doch wie könnte es zu einer solch gigantischen Lüge kommen? T-Rex und seine Freunde begeben sich auf die Suche nach der Wahrheit - und finden das Unglaubliche.

Student Georg Brand bekommt das verschollene Handy von Hacker-Legende Tron alias Boris F. in die Hände. Er entdeckt eigenwillige Umbauten, für die sich auch dubiose Firmen interessieren. Und mit denen ein Handy auf einmal viel mehr wird als nur ein mobiles Telefon. Was Georg aber noch nicht ahnt: Wegen dieses Wissens wird auf Trons Freundin Nolo ein Mordanschlag verübt!

Steht die Zukunft in Büchern aus dem 16. Jahrhundert geschrieben? Die berühmten Vierzeiler des spätmittelalterlichen Franzosen Michel de Nostredame beschäftigen auch in der heutigen Zeit noch viele Menschen. Einer Spur von Tron folgend, begeben sich Georg Brand und sein Freund Kim auf die Jagd nach den Rätseln der Zukunft. Hat der tote Hacker Tron den Nostradamus-Code tatsächlich geknackt?
