The Sufis have been using carefully constructed stories for teaching purposes for thousands of years. Though on the surface these often appear to be little more than entertaining fairy tales or folktales, they enshrine - in their characters, plots, and imagery - patterns and relationships that nurture a part of the mind not reachable in more conventional ways, thus increasing our understanding, flexibility, and breadth of vision.

Wahhabism is the most common form of politicized fundamentalist Islam, now most associated with the Islamic State and Al Qaeda and the official religion of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Juz Amma is the 30th and last part of the Quran. It is perhaps the most widely read and memorized portion of the Quran throughout the Muslim world. It contains a number of short chapters that are easy to memorize and are most often recited in prayer.

Surah Al-Waqi'ah ("The Inevitable" or "The Event") is the 56th surah (chapter) of The Holy Quran. Muslims believe it was revealed in Mecca (see Meccan surah). The total number of verses in this surah are 96. It mainly discusses the afterlife according to Islam, and the different fates people will face in it.

According to the Sufis, human faculties, although perceptive, are limited: Like a radio set, which can receive only certain electromagnetic waves and not other parts of this band. The inability to transcend the barrier of limited senses explains human subjectivity. Surah An-Nahl (The Bees) is the 16th chapter (surah) of The Holy Qur'an, with 128 ayah (verse). It is named after honeybees and contains a comparison of the industry and adaptability of honeybees to the industry of man. Regarding the timing and contextual background of the supposed revelation (asbal al-nuzul), it is an earlier "Meccan surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, instead of later in Medina.
